the COSS solution

The 5Feedback application is now available in the SAP® Store

By integrating with SAP® SuccessFactors® solutions, the 5Feedback solution helps companies foster a strong feedback culture by providing ongoing and real-time feedback on soft skills.

Paris, France — February 4th, 2021 — 5Feedback today announced that its Feedback for Employee Development application is now available on SAP® Store, which recently merged with SAP App Center as the single digital marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. Feedback for Employee Development integrates with SAP® SuccessFactors® Employee Central and enables employees to request and give ongoing feedback that will inform their professional development. This feedback also reinforces employee engagement and enhances team collective performance.

“Through extended research, our goal was to crack the issue of hierarchical and cognitive feedback bias and to develop a comprehensive soft skill framework – this is one of the 5Feedback strengths,” said Vincent Meyer, HEC PhD, 5Feedback Scientific Director. “We are excited to broaden the reach of Feedback for Employee Development to businesses that use SAP solutions with its inclusion on SAP Store.”

With 5Feedback’s application, feedback is anonymous and confidential, and is given and received on any of 24 soft skills (as well as on specific events). The tool makes it easy to request and give feedback, providing four simple questions per competency to assess the frequency of a behavior (to avoid rater bias). Questions are based on research conducted by various international experts from Vanderbilt University, LBS, HEC Paris and Montréal. Feedback is given through a star-based rating system and through a selection of key words that allow raters to quickly identify strengths and areas of improvement. A comprehensive dashboard helps users access and analyze the data (i.e., average ratings given by their respondents to ensure anonymity) and provides them with bite-size learning resources to help them improve or strengthen each competency.

Feedback for Employee Development also provides HR and training managers with valuable aggregated (not individual) data, allowing them to easily assess whether their company values are shared by their employees and how well employees live those values. This data also proves extremely useful to devise soft skills training strategies.

SAP recently brought together SAP Store and SAP App Center into one single marketplace at store.sap.com. It delivers a simplified and connected digital customer experience for finding, trying, buying, and renewing more than 1,800 solutions from SAP and its partners. There, customers can find the SAP solutions and SAP-validated partner apps they need to grow their business. And for each purchase made via SAP Store, SAP will plant a tree.

5Feedback is a partner in the SAP PartnerEdge® program. As such, it is empowered to build, market and sell software applications on top of market-leading technology platforms from SAP. The SAP PartnerEdge program provides the enablement tools, benefits and support to facilitate building high-quality, disruptive applications focused on specific business needs – quickly and cost-effectively. The program provides access to all relevant SAP technologies in one simple framework under a single, global contract.
